An epic blog about the Shiny Pokemon Hunters Riley and Alex. To teach people about Shiny Pokemon, to share our stories about Shiny encounters and inspire people to hunt Shiny Pokemon..... A Shiny Pokemon is an very rare Pokemon with different coloration than normal Pokemon. The odds of encountering a Shiny Pokemon are 1/8192, or 1/4096 in Gen 6. There are methods to increase the chances of finding one, such as the Masuda Method and Chaining. We will address all of this and more in our blog.

Super Bowl Shiny

Hey SH Alex here.It's Super Bowl Sunday and finally, after over 4 hours of negotiating, I got a legit shiny Heracross. I spent 2 hours trading a Kyogre for a hacked shiny Porygon-Z and then got a legit Heracross after 2 more hours. So, technically I got 2 shinies.
